This week as mostly cleanup and reiteration on previous work. I deleted some back faces on the clarinet keys to significantly reduce the tri-count. I have also added in a ligature (seen in the pic with the cap) that is an important piece of woodwind instruments that use reeds. The cap is an item I will use to help add some variance if I have multiple clarinets in the scene.
I have also gone through another pass on the textures for the objects I already have modeled (excluding the clarinet). I did this while very closely studying the texture references I have collected from in games. I am trying to emulate the style whilst also making it my own and not an exact copy. I do feel as though I am getting much closer to where I want it to be, but with everything there is always room for improvement.
Last, I have also solidified how I want glass to look. I have made it mostly transparent, just there enough for some color to be seen, whilst also having a low roughness to give it some reflectivity to allow it to be visible to the player.
